HELLO. First and Foremost, I just wanted to say THANK YOU, for taking the time to come to my Website. IT MEANS A LOT!
My name is Elizabeth Danielle Pujadas. I was born in Englewood, New Jersey, on November 16th, 1994. I am blessed to say that I am 22 years old.
Since I can remember I have always aspired to become an "Actress", even before I knew their was such a word for what I loved to do. I've always had a passion for playing pretend and using my imagination to transform me into another world.
As a child, I would spend hours in front of my television singing to Sister Act as if I was apart of their choir. I would dance in my room for an entire day while listening to Josie & The Pussy Cats, The Cheetah Girls, and Britney Spears. I wanted to sing like them. I wanted to dance like them. I wanted to be apart of them. None the less I was inspired.
I would ask my siblings to create with me. I was the director, of course. Thankfully I had many siblings so when one got tired, which they often did, I would move onto the next sibling. My work ranged from Choreography with my younger sisters which had to be perfect in order for us to perform before our parents. Singing, which many times was broken down into different solo performances. Creating short plays which for some reason always included giving birth or someone dying. Crying was always a Must.
Fast Forward, my mother very early recognized my passion and always encouraged me to continue my pursuit. She enrolled me in dance classes and allowed me to audition for a performing arts high school. I was admitted to The Academy of Arts & Mind, for Acting. There I studied Stanisklavski Method from my wonderful professor, Larry Villanueva. It was this professor who opened my eyes to the magic of what is, Theatre.
In 2008, my family and I made our way to Keller, Texas for a new life due to the economy crash. It's true what they say about Texas, everything truly is BIGGER there, including their Theatre. I was privileged to be apart of several productions, such as Our Country's Good, where I played an An Aboriginal Australian who played a Didgeridoo. Guys and Dolls, as a hot box girl. Almost Maine, as the character Rhonda. I was also apart of their first annual Improv Troupe.
Receiving the news of my college admissions to New World School of the Arts, my family was very thrilled. We all decided to collectively make the move to Miami, FL. During my journey at New World School of the Arts we were aided to dive deeper into the craft of theater. Four years of Acting, four years of Voice & Movement, Improvisation, Stagecraft, Theater Appreciation, Scene Study, Makeup & Costume Production, Theater History, Production Design, Modern Realism, Mask, Clowning, Shakespeare, Playwriting, Theater Research, Directing, Acting for the Camera. As well as 300 hours of Crew work, where I was able to learn about painting and building sets, Lighting design, stage managing and costume managing. It was a blessing to be apart of many productions such as The Adding Machine, Mrs.One & Guide. A Street Car Named Desire, Ensemble. The Country Wife, Lady Fidget. Jekyll and Hyde, Ensemble. The Seagull, Irina Arkardina, as well as my Original One Person Show The Doctor Will See You Now, Monica Silverman.
I graduated from New World School of the Arts with a Bachelors in Fine Arts, on April 25th 2017. I was accepted into the American Theater Wing SpringboardNYC class of 2017. "An Intensive two week program taught by the best and brightest working in the theatre today."I was honored to sit in a room with some of the industries greatest during the Tony Awards.
